Rethinking Blended Learning
Traditional full-day, in-person workshops have long been the standard in healthcare education. However, it's time to reconsider this model. Blended learning—thoughtfully combining online and face-to-face elements—offers a more flexible, inclusive, and effective approach. By leveraging online tools for reflection and foundational knowledge, we can reserve in-person sessions for activities that truly benefit from real-time interaction, such as building trust and practicing complex communication. This approach not only enhances learning outcomes but also promotes equity by accommodating diverse schedules and responsibilities.
